Bond 24: 10 Actors Who Would Make Awesome Villains
3. Tilda Swinton
Who She Would Play: Tilda Swinton is a one-of-a-kind actress. She can play heroes, but generally she's best at playing icy oddballs, as evidenced by her Oscar-winning work as the antagonist in Michael Clayton. If EON will take a gamble on a female villain, she's the best choice I can possibly think of, an excellent, versatile actress with a naturally intimidating face that would make her a viable match for Bond right off the bat. She can also work a variety of accents, so there's no trouble there if they want her to have some international flavour. Likelihood Of It Happening: 4/10. As with Blanchett, the main problem is that the vast majority of the key Bond villains are male, as this is simply a dynamic that works, so it would be a huge gamble to change it up. Still, she has a better chance of nailing it than just about any other actress out there, so who knows?
