And of course, one can't forget the Bond girls, either. Ignore those silly Rihanna rumours, because MGM have scored quite the coup in hiring French actress Lea Seydoux to play a femme fatale Bond girl for the 24th movie. Though this will hugely elevate the actress's worldwide profile, she's not exactly an unknown, having played a memorable, similar femme fatale-type role in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, winning a brief role in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, and with her explicit French drama hit Blue Is The Warmest Colour, becoming one of only two actors (the other being her co-star, Adele Exarchopoulos) to ever be awarded the Cannes Film Festival's Palme d'Or along with the winning director. The producers were reportedly originally seeking a Scandinavian actress for the part, but were so wowed by Seydoux that they soon enough changed their minds. With a striking, exotic look. excellent grasp of English and fine acting prowess, Seydoux has the chance to be a memorable and thinking man's Bond girl: hopefully the script won't give her the short shrift like even Skyfall did to the gorgeous-but-shallow Severine. What are your expectations for Bond 24? Any predictions for the title or who might be playing who? Shout it out in the comments!
