Bond 24: 10 Things You Need To Know

2. Returning Talent

It's always comforting when a movie sequel or follow-up sees talent returning from the previous movie, and such is very much the case with Bond 24. Aside from the central cast, director Sam Mendes is, after originally turning down the offer, back on-board for the movie, though has allegedly rebuffed an early offer to also direct the 25th film. In addition, Skyfall writer John Logan is back, and Bond screenwriting veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have, in an interesting move, been brought in to polish Logan's script despite originally announcing having no involvement with the project. Also, Dutch costume designer Jany Temime has just announced that she will be returning, as has Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Chris Corbould. Bond composer David Arnold has also stated that he hasn't been contacted by the filmmakers, which suggests that Sam Mendes is almost certainly using Thomas Newman again for the score.
