As the calendar creeps quickly towards Christmas Day on the 25th of December, were counting down the days with a special advent calendar of festive films, revealing a set of rare images for each chosen film to surprise and delight film fans. Bridget Jones is perfectly imperfect, and we love her just the way she is: uninhibited, uncensored, unmarried. For those who weren't familiar with Helen Fielding's fictitious thirty-something-spinster, in 2001 everyone got to know Bridget Jones as the nation's sweetheart when she (Renée Zellweger) appeared on our screens (arse first...). Although Renée is American (Texan to be precise) she does pull off a very playful and convincing British accent. I have seen this film so many times and yet I still continue to laugh out loud throughout the film. It's definitely a comical Christmas (and all-year) classic.
