Bruce Lee: 10 Most Memorable Screen Moments

7. The Big Boss (1971) - The Mill Fight

rsz_the-big-boss In The Big Boss Bruce is introduced as a man who's taken a vow of non-violence, meaning that he spends a large chunk of the movie not fighting, choosing instead to turn the other cheek. Which is a bold move when making a movie starring Bruce Lee. It's almost like making an album with Jimi Hendrix if he had recently made a vow of non-guitar-solos. But when Bruce finally breaks his vow you'll find the wait has been well worth it. Attacked in a mill by a huge crowd of bullies and thugs, Bruce strikes back. The highlights of this scene are Bruce's straight up stabbing guys with an icepick and kicking a guy through a wall and leaving a Wiley B Coyote style man-shaped hole behind. It's not quite how the laws of physics work, but we're prepared to let that go.
