Bruce Lee: 10 Most Memorable Screen Moments

8. Way Of The Dragon (1972) - The Nunchuck Scene

rsz_nunchuck Way Of The Dragon doesn't just demonstrate Lee's martial art skills, it also demonstrates his chops as a director. And Bruce didn't do too bad as a director with his first attempt. In 2010 Empire Magazine ranked Way Of The Dragon #95 in their list of the best world cinema films. Damn it, Lee. Stop being so talented. You're making the rest of us look bad. Bruce plays Tang Lung who moves to Italy to help his uncle Wang's restaurant which is under siege by mafia-types running a protection racket. Things get real when the thugs turn up to trash Uncle Wang's place and Bruce steps up to fight them off. Although they're quite obviously heavily armed they decide to attack him one by one with their fists. Bruce reacts to this by producing not one, but two pairs of nunchucks -- try not to question where he gets the nunchucks. Just sit back and watch the scene in all its nunchuckery glory.
