Bullet To The Head: 10 Reasons To Ignore The Hate

1. Walter Hill Is Back

Even Bullet to the Head skeptics must be a little excited about Walter Hill finally returning to the big screen. Bullet to the Head is his first film in a decade. How is this possible? This is the man that gave us The Warriors for crying out loud. Now, he's back, and a team up of him and Stallone has been a long time coming which is just a whole other reason to be excited. Hill directed Schwarzenegger in Red Heat and Bruce Willis in Last Man Standing. Now he can complete the trifecta of Reagan era heroes.

Walter Hill has been known to make what many consider to be clunkers as well as classics, but even his worst films like Last Man Standing one can't help but enjoy as a serving of good old guilty movie pleasure. Bullet to the Head could be in the same realm, but who cares? Any Walter Hill is better than no Walter Hill. His assured direction, Western movie mentality and old school technique make him a unique and underrated voice among filmmakers. He's one of the greats and any new film by him is a reason to celebrate. Bullet to the Head is no exception. Hill will have a chance to dive into his usual themes of machismo and show us he's still a great director of action. Or we could just end up with another Last Man Standing and you know what? I'm okay with that as well. What do you make of Bullet To The Head? Let us know in the comments below.
