Captain America 2 Spoilers: 10 Ways It Sets Up Future Marvel Universe Movies
7. Black Widow's Shady Past Will Come Back To Haunt Her
Captain America: The Winter Soldier made a huge point of directing our attention towards Black Widow's "shady past," in the sense that it kept referring to stuff she'd done and probably didn't want people to know about, what with all that former KGB activity that we've heard about. Although it's alluded to throughout, though, the movie doesn't actually give us any information about what terrible, awful things Black Widow might've done. C'mon, Marvel! Still, all of these mentions seem to be pointing towards an inevitable scene where we actually get to find out the gory details. Towards the end of The Winter Soldier, after all, Black Widow must make a tough decision which means that her private information will be unveiled to the world at large, which we presume happens, because in the last scene she tells the Captain that she has to lie low for a while. Alas, we still don't know much about Black Widow by the end of The Winter Soldier - hopefully her story will be expanded upon properly before it's too late.
