Captain America: Civil War - 10 Amazing Comic Book Moments It Must Include

8. Reveals Their Secret Identity

The "Sony Hack" last year revealed that Marvel and Sony were in discussions which could have led to Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War. Unfortunately, those same leaked emails showed that talks broke down, leaving Spidey's future very much in doubt (various reports have since claimed that the deal will happen). Assuming Spider-Man is included in the movie, recreating arguably the most iconic scene of comic book - where Peter reveals his identity - would be a must. It would set up a very interesting new status quo for Peter Parker in a rebooted form. That's said to be the plan if they reach an agreement. If, on the other hand, things don't fall into place, having Tony Stark convince a fellow hero to out themselves to the public could still have the same impact even if he or she isn't quite as iconic as Spider-Man. Ant-Man seems like an obvious choice as the trailer seemed to indicate that he could be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's "everyman", taking Spidey's place.
