Captain America: Civil War - 10 Biggest Potential Losers
6. Black Widow
Black Widow has established clear relationships with the majority of her fellow Avengers in a way that they haven't done with each another. She has a long-standing friendship with Hawkeye, after all, and spent an entire movie working alongside Captain America in The Winter Soldier. Then there's her new romance with Bruce Banner. Heck, she also has close ties to Tony Stark, given that she was first introduced to the MCU by way of Iron Man 2. On that basis alone, she has a lot to lose getting involved in any kind of superhero war. Then there's the rumour doing the rounds claiming that Black Widow isn't going to make it through, which certainly feels plausible given that she isn't exactly a flagship character. All of this is another way of saying that Black Widow has the odds stacked against her in the win/lose department; it's going to be pretty hellish for her either way. Not only will Natasha have to come to terms with fighting against her closet friend, Hawkeye, but she'll have to stew in the repercussions of having done so (should she make it to the end in one piece). Then there's the fact that, from a physical perspective, she's a mere human being; facing off against super-powered individuals is going to take its toll. Civil War is not a good time to be Black Widow. Perhaps a little vacation would have been a better option, hm?
