Captain America: Civil War - 10 Biggest Potential Losers
5. Crossbones
If the rumours are to be believed, Crossbones is set to meet his doom during the opening sequence of Captain America: Civil War, as Captain America and some of the Avengers face off against the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in an explosive battle - one that may or not inspire the strict government laws that lead the Avengers to face off against each another. As a traitor, Crossbones (real name: Brock Rumlow) has set himself up for a big loss; indeed, having betrayed Captain America, Black Widow and the whole of S.H.I.E.L.D. across the span of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it's not currently looking good for this guy - surveying the evidence, there's an uncertainty about his future that can't be denied. Actor Frank Grillo, who plays Crossbones, gave a few candid comments with regards to his character's future in the MCU, saying: "This movie is such a big movie with a lot of people in it, so you don't get as much of the time that you'd like to have. We'll see what happens." Like it or not, these words seem to suggest that Crossbones won't make it through Civil War, and that he's set to become the first real "loser" in the movie when he winds up... well, dead.
