Captain America: Civil War - 10 Biggest Things We Still Don't Know

7. How Does Black Panther Get Involved?

Black Panther enters the fold and appears to join Iron Man's team, though Chadwick Boseman has already confirmed that the character appears more as a peacekeeper who temporarily allies with Tony Stark in order to bring the situation under control. The question remains, though: how exactly is Black Panther dragged into the events revolving around Stark, Bucky and Cap? The Likely Answer: We can see a brief clip of T'Challa amid the rubble of a building after it has exploded, so it seems likely that the terrorist attack launched by Zemo and/or Crossbones, in an attempt to frame Bucky, against the U.N. or a similar organisation, is what makes Panther spring to action. Internet sleuths have also noted that he appears to be in tears and looking at someone who has possibly been cropped out of the shot: perhaps it's his father, King T'Chaka, who has been assassinated. After all, Panther couldn't really get any more dramatically potent motivation than that.
