Captain America: Civil War - 10 Major Reveals From The New Images
9. Some Awesome Sounding Scenes
One of the best parts of Entertainment Weekly's Captain America: Civil War coverage is their description of a couple of different scenes from the movie. The first takes place shortly after Captain America and The Falcon are forced to hand over their costumes and weapons shortly before they're led out of an elevator by Black Widow, T'Challa, and Martin Freeman's still unnamed government agent. It turns out that they're being taken to Tony Stark, and he's busy on the phone promising US Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross that there will be "consequences" for a battle between Cap's Avengers squad and Crossbones which has left many civilians dead. After hanging up, he tells Steve: "Secretary Ross wanted you both prosecuted. I had to give him something." Taken aback by his friend's attitude, the patriotic superhero asks: "Im not getting that shield back, am I?" Here's where things get really interesting though as Black Widow jumps in and says, "Technically it belongs to the government. Wings, too." Ouch! "Thats cold," Falcon appropriately responds as Tony spins on his heel as the two walk away with TChalla. He flashes a tight, unpleasant smile on his way out: "Warmer than jail!" Tensions are already growing between the heroes at this stage then, with both Iron Man and Black Widow quite clearly on the side of the government. The magazine were later able to witness a scene between those two when they realise they're going to have to hunt down and arrest Captain America and those who have sided with him. "You know the problem with a fully functional heart?" he asked her pointing to where his arc reactor used to sit. "Its stressful. Itd be pretty awesome if we had a Hulk..."
