Captain America: Civil War - 10 MCU Problems It Needs To Fix

1. It Can Acknowledge The Civilian Impact

One thing comic book movies are regularly criticised for is the lack of focus on the civilian impact and collateral damage caused by the superhuman battles within them. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice looks set to focus heavily on that, based on what happened previously in Man of Steel, and it is hoped that Captain America: Civil War will do the same thing regarding battles from past Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Of course, by its very nature, that should undoubtedly be the case. The Sokovia Accords which cause the Avengers to fight amongst themselves are a set of rules that require superhumans to work under the governments of the world, thanks to the destruction their fights had previously caused in the MCU. Hopefully, this isn't merely mentioned in passing - we need to see the devastating effects of previous battles on the civilian population. That way, the notion of the need for that legislation will actually hit home with audiences. What do you think? Can Captain America: Civil War fix these problems? Which other MCU problems can it fix? Have your say in the comments section below.
