Captain America: Civil War - 10 Most Hyped Moments

2. Ant-Man

For fans of Paul Rudd's Ant-man, there was a very real concern that he would end up side-lined in favour of the grander action sequences and the older relationships. He is after all a new kid on the block and his stand-alone was markedly different from the rest of the MCU, so he could have been thrown an obligatory bone.

As Empire succinctly puts it: "Even Paul Rudd€™s Ant-Man receives more than a tokenistic €˜hey it€™s him!€™ cameo, and in spectacle terms at least, is given the film€™s biggest scene."

Could there be any more of a thrillng thing to hear for Ant-Man fans than that? Wonderfully, it's not just a matter of Rudd fanboying over Cap or dropping quips - he actually has something substantial to do in the final battle as he and "Tom Holland€™s friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler and Rudd€™s amazing miniature man who run away with the lion€™s share of the battle€™s memorable moments" according to Total Film.

That promise of key action in the finale is particularly great (especially given the rumours of a massive development) and anything that cements Ant-Man as an important MCU character before his sequel is entirely welcome.
