Captain America Civil War: 11 Critical Reactions You Need To Know

4. The Airport Battle Is A Classic

Among the most unanimous praise for the movie is that of the airport-set battle royale between the two superhero sides.

It's been described as thus: "the best superhero brawl ever depicted on the big screen. It is a comic book fan’s wet dream...This is the superhero movie fight scene people will remember and geek out about for years" (IGN), "an unforgettable main event...[that] ranks among the most inventive and fun scraps ever committed to superhero celluloid" (Total Film), "the best I have ever seen in a superhero movie...It’s a perfect action sequence" (Birth. Movies. Death.), a "glorious showstopper" (Screencrush), and "the greatest superheroes-vs.-superheroes showdown we could have possibly hoped for" (Mashable).

That's not all. Spider-Man was called out in particular: "in the airport fight however he's truly spectacular, holding his own against the best the MCU has to offer, using his webs in entertaining and creative ways, while his motor-mouthed (and charmingly naive) wisecracking couldn’t be better" (Total Film).

Others favoured Ant-Man, who seems to get the movie's most crowd-pleasing moment: Ant-Man, "in spectacle terms at least, is given the film’s biggest scene" (Empire), "earning one of the movie’s biggest applause moments" (Variety), and causing "some of the set-piece’s most nerdgasm-inducing moments" (IGN).

Can the next few weeks just hurry up and get here? Please?
