Though his own movie worked precisely because it was different to the rest of the MCU, seeing Ant-Man team up with the rest of The Avengers is still one of the most exciting upcoming elements in Phase 3. A lot of that has to do with Paul Rudd, who will benefit from the focused writing of the Russos (and no necessary retooling of someone else's ideas) and who will have no problems holding his own in the starry ensemble. Thankfully, the Russos appear to be preserving his comedic tone, as the end of the teaser footage has Scott Lang meet Captain America and being incredibly uncool and star-struck. He crowns the awkwardness (which apparently also sees him meet Black Widow and react similarly, though not quite as impressively) by copping a feel of Cap's pecs.
