Captain America Civil War: 12 Big Questions From Everything We Know So Far
9. Will They Acknowledge Doctor Strange?
Even before it was confirmed it had been no secret that Marvel chief Kevin Feige wanted to make a Doctor Strange movie, and the speculation it would happen was ramped up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier with a reference to "Stephen Strange." Now Doctor Strange has been confirmed and cast, with Benedict Cumberbatch (who else?) playing the Sorcerer Supreme, and the movie is due out on 28th October 2016 in the UK (and a week later in the US). So, we know who Doctor Strange is, and we also know that he definitely exists in the world of Captain America and that people there are aware of him. This means that he could feasibly appear, much like they're introducing other new characters, but that isn't happening. So, where is Doctor Strange, and will the characters once again at least give a mention to him here? After all, if you're talking about heroes being held to account, having a sorcerer you know about would surely be at least a minor factor in things.
