8. Why Are Black Widow And Hawkeye Fighting Each Other

Although it's obviously going to change with this movie, the Avengers have always got on reasonably well. Sure, they've had their moments of conflict, which is to be expected given all of the egos involved, but then they go get some shawarma and put it all behind them. However, they aren't exactly friends, and didn't know each other before the Avengers Initiative, with the notable exception of Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. The two are old comrades, they have a history together and a real friendship that exists outside of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. If any two of the Avengers can trust each other and have the other person's back, it's these two. So, naturally, they're on opposing sides of Civil War. Wait, what? When the teams were revealed, this was the most surprising aspect. What could cause these two friends to go up against each other?
