Captain America: Civil War - 12 Biggest Questions We Want Answered
12. How And Why The Heroes Choose Their Sides?
The sides have been chosen, the battle lines drawn in the sand. Joining Team Rogers will be Bucky, Hawkeye, Falcon, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, and Sharon Carter. For Team Stark, it'll be War Machine, Black Widow, Vision, and maybe Black Panther (at least if we're believing the promo material). For the most part, these are all heroes who have fought beside each other in previous outings. Vision was there in Age Of Ultron. Black Widow was close to Cap in The Winter Soldier. Then there's the fact that she and Hawkeye are the closest friends out of all the Avengers. Obviously they've got different views on things, but what can happen that they decide to go to war with each other, in particular such former close allies? Likely Answer: Bucky and Falcon are Cap's two best friends, so that's obvious. Same goes for Rhodey and Tony Stark, while Vision was his butler, Jarvis. Ant-Man is connected to the film by Falcon, hence being on Cap's side, while Agent 13 was his ally in The Winter Soldier. Hawkeye wants to protect his family, thus remaining secret, but Romanoff is tired of being in the shadows. Scarlet Witch is something of a wild card.
