Captain America Civil War - 12 Things Fans Will Just Have To Accept

11. It's Going To Be Massively Overcrowded

If Age of Ultron made any one thing in particular clear, it's that the major Marvel movies are startling to buckle under the weight of their own superhero roster. Joss Whedon evidently struggled to introduce new characters while cramming all the previously-established ones on the screen, both figuratively and then literally during the frantic final battle sequences. With Civil War throwing the likes of The Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Ant-Man and Spider-Man into the mix alongside characters who have already been brought into the Avengers fold, not to mention the introduction of at least two new villains, the film has a ridiculous amount of characters to do right by, and it wouldn't be hugely surprising if the script just felt too rushed and overstuffed as a result. After all, if a writer as talented as Whedon can't quite nail it, what chance does anyone else have? It's going to need some fantastically inventive cinematography and terrific editing to make it not feel like a cluttered mess, and even then, it might just be too much of a muchness.
