Captain America: Civil War - 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

1. Captain America Becomes Nomad

If you're not a pretty committed comic book fan, you'd be forgiven for not knowing who Nomad is. The masked avenger (no capital letter as he was very much a lone wolf), was an alter-ego that Steve Rogers adopted briefly when he abandoned the Cap suit, shield and title.

After becoming disillusioned with the government, after discovering corruption (as he did in The Winter Soldier), Rogers turned his back on Captain America and declares himself "of no nation", taking on a new costume in the process.

In the comics, it doesn't last long - only four issues - but the events are so closely tied to how Rogers steps away from Cap in the MCU that it seems pretty fair to call him Nomad now.
