Captain America: Civil War - 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed
9. Doctor Broussard
When Zemo's grand plan is finally revealed and it turns out he has taken the place of an official doctor, it's a great moment in the film.
The doctor, meanwhile, is named seemingly in honour of Marvel Producer Stephen Broussard, who worked on Captain America: The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk and who has the same role on Doctor Strange.
And then when tragic Dr Theo Broussard's body is revealed, it turns out he was played by director Joe Russo all along.
Russo has a history of playing secret cameos in his films - he's done so in You, Me & Dupree and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (in which he played fellow doctor Dr Fine). If you're wondering why you didn't see his name listed in the credits, it's because he goes by the alias Gozie Agbo when cameoing.
He's the third director to have a role in an MCU film, with Jon Favreau playing Happy Hogan and James Gunn playing a Sakaraan in Guardians Of The Galaxy. He's also the third member of his family to appear in a Captain America film, alongside sister Angela Russo-Otsot in Winter Solider and Sophia Russo in Civil War.
