29. Redwing

As revealed by early footage shown at fan conventions, Sam Wilson's Falcon comes armed with a new side-kick, called Redwing.

In the comics, the character is actually a bird - a falcon, obviously - that Sam buys in Rio, and who shares a telepathic link with the future Captain America thanks to Red Skull's manipulation of the Cosmic Cube. As a result of that link, Redwing can understand commands given in English to do Wilson's bidding.

In the fil, Redwing has been reimagined as a drone (how very current), but the relationship remains pretty much the same. Wilson still gives vocal commands and the "bird" responds to give its master more scope in the field.
