9. Leipzig-Halle Airport

The airport that hosts the exceptional hero v hero fight is the Leipzig-Halle airport, which is situated just outside of Leipzig. While the film's version of Zemo was wildly different to the comic book version, this location is actually a reference to the character. Originally - rather than being a Sokovian - Zemo was born in Leipzig.

That this airport is so key to Captain America's attempt to thwart Zemo's plan is another cunning step in the ultimate misdirection that reveals Zemo's true motivation.
