8. Giant Man!

If it wasn't for Spider-Man's scene stealing presence, Paul Rudd would have emerged as the most surprising MVP of the entire film. Not only is he hilarious - almost flirting with Cap, revelling in his association with "proper" heroes or quipping while fighting - he also gets the incredible opportunity to go big as Giant Man.

Ever since Ant-Man foreshadowed his suit's ability to make things go massive with the excellent Thomas The Tank sequence, it was inevitable that we'd see at leasr some allusion to Ant-Man's other alter-ego. The fact that we got to see it here in a sequence that is already one of the greatest set-pieces in comic book movie history just made it all the better.
