2. Stan Lee's Cameo

As usual, Marvel's grand-daddy gets his chance to shine, this time playing a Fed-Ex delivery driver who delivers Cap's message of continued support to Stark. Inevitably, it's another comic moment as Lee misreads Tony's surname as "Stank", unwittingly giving him a new nickname.

As his cameos go, it's not exactly one of the better ones.

The Russos also give comedy actor Jim Rash a cameo as the MIT faculty member who asks Tony Stark whether his pledge of grants to all MIT students (a licence to create a whole new generation of supervillains if they're not careful) covers staff too. Rash worked with the Russos onCommunity, on which he played a similarly annoying character.

Sophia Russo also gets a cameo, thanks to some family ties, and Damion Poitier - the man who originally played Thanos in his first stinger appearance during the Avengers' credits, gets a brief cameo as a mercenary.
