Captain America: Civil War - 30 Easter Eggs & References You Must See
1. The Mid- And Post-Credit Scenes
As ever, there are a couple of additional scenes after the film "ends". The first - which comes during the credits - sees Bucky and Cap in Wakanda, with The Winter Soldier taking advantage of Wakandan technological advances to be cryogenetically frozen until they find a cure for his susceptibility to brainwashing.
T-Challa also pledges to protect Bucky with all his might, despite the knowledge that people will come for him ("let them try," he challenges defiantly), while looking out over the giant Panther statue from the comics. It's a stunning tease to what is going to be a very exciting stand-alone film.
Presumably we can count on Bucky being a big part of Black Panther's movie, with Everett Ross and possibly Zemo also getting expanded roles alongside the returning Ulysses Klaue after his cameo in Age Of Ultron.
After the credits end, we see another Spider-Man scene, with Peter Parker returned home nursing a black eye from his big combat debut.
Interestingly, Parker seems to discover that his new web-slingers have built in tech augmentations that he wasn't aware of, as he discovers a "hidden hologram" (how very Star Wars, again) that projects his logo onto the ceiling as part of an AI operating "screen".
The "Spider-Man will return" sign-off was also a brilliant touch.
