8. Black Widow Or Hawkeye

Black Widow and Hawkeye - AKA Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton - are not only long-time allies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they're also good friends. In fact, Barton' son Nathaniel was going to be called Natasha if he was a girl, but instead was given the masculine form of the name as homage to their friendship. However, they're on different teams in Captain America: Civil War. It is generally believed, though, that one of them is faking their allegiance in order to gain information about the opposition - so much so that the duo actually come to blows with each other. We have always known that both characters would go to great lengths to succeed in their missions, but whichever one of them is faking their allegiance is showing new levels of commitment, as they are potentially risking their friendship with someone they are extremely close to (the likelihood is that it will be Black Widow working undercover, but for the purposes of this article let's assume it could still be either of them).
