Captain America: Civil War - 8 Ways It'll Be Nothing Like The Comics

4. No Negative Zone

Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Hank Pym are certainly one clever trio, with almost unparalleled intellect, inventiveness, and access to technology. They use all of that to their advantage during Civil War, and one of the most notable is the use of the Negative Zone as a prison, which holds superheroes who don't sign the Registration Act. Like with the Thor clone, the lack of Richards and the allegiance of Ant-Man means that Stark would probably have to go it alone on this one, especially as his fellow Science Bro. Bruce Banner won't be around to help either. The Negative Zone is a parallel universe, and they haven't been setup yet in the MCU (that may change with Doctor Strange, but that comes after Civil War). It's also mostly associated with the Fantastic Four, so Marvel may not even have the rights to use the name. They could of course make it a prison that simply exists on Earth, but it would still be a very villainous move by Stark to be imprisoning fellow superheroes.
