3. The Red Skull Returns, HYDRA Make Global Bid
At this stage, itll be revealed why HYDRA set up the framing of Bucky. Baron Zemo predicted that this was the only way to turn Captain America against the government and get him imprisoned. With their biggest enemy out of the way, they now have a far clearer path to global domination. Only the remaining Avengers will stand in their way, and they have equally elaborate plans to stop each of them.
My personal theory is that The Red Skull will return at this stage, either played Hugo Weaving in a surprise cameo or recast with a new actor in the role. Heck, its even possible that Daniel Bruhls Zemo is actually The Red Skull, and hell rip a fake face off at this stage to prove it. Either way, Ive got a feeling that The Red Skull will appear in this movie as HYDRA orchestrate their plan for taking over the world. The Red Skull vanished into the Tesseract at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger. Many presumed him dead at the time, but The Avengers movie established that the cosmic cube can be used as a portal as well as a power source. Maybe he was transported in to space, and ended up making new evil friends and developing his technologies. At this stage of Civil War, it'll be revealed that he's back and has a huge arsenal of allies and futuristic weaponry at his disposal.
