6. War Machine

As Tony Stark's best friend, James "Rhodey" Rhodes AKA War Machine is sure to appear prominently in Captain America: Civil War. He's obviously a member of Iron Man's pro-registration team and he'll fight by his side at every available opportunity, but he'll also be a major part of the Sokovia Accords discussions, given his prominence in the U.S. military. The trailers show him badly injured, so he might end up being sidelined from the fighting earlier than most characters - hence the fact he isn't even higher up in the list - but that'll still mean he'll act as additional incentive for Stark to bring Cap down as a result. Rumours of his demise have been doing the rounds since the trailer (he is clearly hurt in it) but that's probably not going to happen and he'll still be around at the end.
