Because the New World Order was the name of the Red Skull’s organization, fans are expecting Johann Shmidt to return in the next Captain America film. However, it’s possible the sequel's main villain will be Skull’s daughter, Sinthea Shmidt, aka Sin.

Believing that all women are weak, the Red Skull ordered for his daughter to be killed the moment she was born. But when his follower convinced him that anyone born from his seed was destined for greatness, Skull changed his mind. However, Captain America's nemesis ordered Sinthea to be mistreated and beaten regularly to strip away any delicacy and weakness from her being.

Unfortunately, Skull's parenting methods proved too efficient, since Sin grew up to become a greater monster than her father.

In some twisted way, the Red Skull absolutely believes what he's doing is for the greater good. Sin, on the other hand, tortures and kills, purely because she enjoys it. Not only is she more evil than her father, you could argue she's a more dangerous, since she brought America to its knees during the Fear Itself storyline.

Sin is not just another goon or a generic supervillain - she is an architect of terror. For that reason, she would be the perfect person to serve as the big bad in Captain America: New World Order.
