Captain Marvel: 10 Best Moments

Captain Marvel is finally out now in cinemas worldwide, and the critical response has turned out broadly positive for the most part. It's far from a perfect film - as evidenced in our own review - but when it gets something right, it gets it really right.

While the film as a whole doesn't fully land as the fist-pumping feminist action romp you might be hoping for, there are so many great moments throughout the film which undeniably elevate the whole.

From clever plot twists to hilarious sight gags, riveting action sequences and, yes, the inevitable Stan Lee cameo, the film's crowd-pleasing appeal speaks for itself in spite of its overall flaws.

These are the 10 moments which fans are going to remember for the foreseeable future, and which help establish Brie Larson's Carol Danvers as the compelling force needed to take Thanos (Josh Brolin) down in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
