3. Carol Goes Super Saiyan

Though most fans seemed convinced that Carol's ultimate glowing form would be a result of her turning Binary in the film's third act, it's actually much more simple than that.

At the end of her confrontation with the Supreme Intelligence, Carol discovers that she has a Kree implant on the back of her neck in order to limit her powers, and naturally, she promptly rips it off.

This allows her to harness the full spectrum of her abilities, which she subsequently uses to fly through the air, ferociously attacking ships and missiles alike. The CGI is a bit rough in places, but as a persuasive display of Carol's power, it totally works.

The less said about that "Just A Girl" fight, meanwhile, the better...
