1. How Will It Set Up Avengers: Endgame?

Captain Marvel is of course the final film heading into Avengers: Endgame, and so it'll absolutely be providing an enticing lead-in to the most anticipated superhero tentpole of all time.

It's already been confirmed that the film features two credits scenes, and true to Marvel form, it's likely that one will be humourous while the other will be a little more serious.

The first might include a cutesy gag with Goose, but the other could see Carol receiving Fury's pager message and making her path towards Earth.

Or, in the event that Carol's return to Earth wants to be kept as a surprise until Endgame releases, perhaps it'll actually show a brief clip of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) marooned in space, or maybe even the Mad Titan himself enjoying his well-earned retirement.

Carol heading to Earth is the most likely bet, because when something this awesome and pivotal to the MCU is happening, predictability really isn't an issue.
