5. All That Nineties Music

One of the most common complaints regarding Captain Marvel is that its use of music was very on the nose (Come As You Are... really?), but it did work in places. The use of No Doubt's 'Just A Girl' worked well in the context of Carol fighting off her former allies, while tracks like Only Happy When It Rains and Celebrity Skin also helped contribute to the film's tone.

Sure, it won't be competing with Guardians' Awesome Mix anytime soon, but as far as soundtracks go, Captain Marvel's works very well.
