2. So... They Just Didn't Notice Her Coming?

Having said that, the scene is not perfect. We see that the Avengers have hooked up the pager to their own systems to monitor the signal it's sending out and that they're also tracking exactly how many victims there are of Thanos' snap. That takes some serious monitoring - much like SHIELD used to track the 'multiple bogeys" mentioned in the Infinity War post-credits scene.

Even the very idea of the Avengers somehow managing to find the pager in New York defies logic unless they somehow had something set up that picked up the signal, which you wouldn't put past them.

But then, if that is the case, how didn't anyone notice Captain Marvel breaking through the atmosphere and flying into Avengers HQ? They've set up vigilate monitoring and defensive systems and yet they somehow manage to miss what could be a threat as well as missing the one thing they're actually looking for. It's not a smart look for them.
