3. An Endgame Scene?!

Honestly, it wasn't all that shocking to see a mid-credits scene setting up Avengers: Endgame, but most people would have gambled on something like Captain Marvel seeing the SOS call to her pager and flying off to the rescue. To see an actual scene from Endgame is shocking on a whole other level.

And not only that, it's not just a throw-away scene. In the past Captain America: The First Avenger and Ant-Man had teases from Avengers movies, but they weren't exactly key sequences, but this was the actual scene in which Carol Danvers comes back to Earth. That reveals that she's in Endgame from the very outset and suggests that she's part of the failed first mission to undo the snap.

In the grand scheme of things, this might well be one of the biggest revelations ever to come from a post-credits scene and it's a great way to build hype for the coming Phase 3 finale.
