2. The Mid-Credits Scene

Another of the big surprises and the most overt link to other ongoing storylines in the MCU comes in the mid-credits sequence, which is worth not spoiling at all here. Just know that it ranks up there as one of the most exciting stingers of any MCU movie and what it reveals about other important MCU films is pretty stunning.

It's the kind of sequence that does exactly what you'd want from a future tease, inspiring major questions, establishing even more hype and enticing the audience to speculate on what it could possibly mean. It's as great, in that respect as the post-credits scene that follows it is utterly infuriating.

And without being too spoilery, one of the surprising character appearances in there confirms that some superheroes react to major traumatic events by having a glow-up so profound that you'll have your breath taken away a little bit.
