The TV spot for Avengers: Endgame may be getting all the headlines after airing on Sunday's Super Bowl, but there was another Marvel teaser that shouldn't be ignored either.

Captain Marvel, set to release in cinemas worldwide March 8, was the other Marvel movie to get a trailer during the 'Big Game', and though the film is only another month away, this latest teaser actually included some really interesting story details. There isn't really much else Marvel could unveil at this stage, but with the trailer having provided a closer look at Carol's origins and the conflict between the Kree and the Skrull, there are still plenty of reasons to pay attention the film's release.

By now, audiences will at least have a decent idea of who Carol Danvers is, and where she comes from. She’s a pilot in the US Air Force, and somewhere along the way she winds up in space with the Kree, without her memories, only to return to Earth and fight alongside a young Nick Fury.

The actual conflict itself is what’s really interesting here, and though the latest teaser doesn’t illuminate it too heavily, there were a few new shots and details that haven’t been shown off before…
