By far one of the biggest set-pieces each trailer has spotlighted has involved Captain Marvel heading into space to decimate an entire fleet of ships. The newest teaser may have also actually clued us in on when this event takes place, by showing Carol leap out of an aircraft piloted by Nick Fury to tackle an enemy vessel.
The two can be seen flying the aircraft out of an underground hanger earlier in the teaser, before they high-five close to the end. Afterwards, Carol can be seen jumping out of the aircraft (with her brand-new red and blue costume), and hurtling towards an enemy aircraft. She makes easy work of it, before travelling higher, further and faster by taking the fight into space itself.
It remains to be seen just who these vessels belong to (it could be Kree or Skrull at this stage), but it's great to see Fury involved too. His chemistry with Danvers looks to be a massive highlight of the prequel, and if it can land all the action too, Marvel's latest origin film could be something very special indeed.
