Flanked either side by men in a shot that somewhat resembles a similar imagery from Jonathan Demme's Silence of the Lambs, Carol rises out of her chair... but for why exactly?
Again, one would assume this would be her volunteering to test the next generational aircraft she's seen piloting when she's shot down by the Kree, but with this being a Marvel film there could be a whole other level of deception at play.
In any case, it would be safe to assume that this is the moment that leads Carol to link up with Maria Rambeau and test the aircraft she's seen piloting earlier.
