4. The Mohawk!

Captain Marvel fans were overjoyed to see the unexpected presence of the hero's famous "mohawk" helmet design in the trailer: when Carol is on manoeuvres underwater, her helmet has converted itself, bracing her hair up into a mohawk style while also supplying her with oxygen.

To be honest, if you're not hugely acquainted with Captain Marvel lore you might not even realise this was Carol Danvers at first, but indeed, this is an incredibly neat nod to one of the superhero's most beloved recent designs.

Hopefully we'll get to see Carol make the mohawk an iconic screen fixture.
