2. Carol's Mystery Opponent

By far the most enigmatic shot from the trailer, however, shows a suited-up Carol standing with her fist clenched as she faces off against an out-of-focus antagonist.

The smart money is probably on this being Jude Law's Mar-Vell, who may or may not become bitter enemies with Carol over the course of the movie. Whoever they are, the blurry outline of their clothing clearly suggests they're not human, and Carol's certainly none-too-happy to see them.

Could this be the beginning of the movie's third-act showdown, perhaps as a full-on Kree-Skrull war breaks out on Earth? Wait and see.
