4. More Powers

It's always good to see a character who has been as heavily hyped as Captain Marvel - specifically in terms of her power-set - delivering the goods on that front. This trailer features her showing off her Photon Blast to Nick Fury as a means to proving that she's not a Skrull (as if he'd know a Skrull couldn't do that). It's a great moment that doubles down on her as a big deal.

More importantly, though, it sells her powers in an even better way. It's how effortless the blast is that really matters here. In terms of the other heroes, powers come at a cost: Iron Man has to rely on his suit's power, Thor needs to charge using lightning (and can't always rely on that working), Bruce Banner has to give himself up to the Hulk, Captain America gets tired out as a normal man would and even Doctor Strange has to apply considerable effort and focus to conjure.

For Danvers, her powers are almost casual and far more devastating. That little moment might be funny, but it's also the most telling in terms of her relationship to the other Avengers.
