1. Carol Is More Human

The biggest complaint with the second trailer was that Brie Larson's acting came across as remarkably flat. It was justifiable to a certain extent because she's an alien masquerading as a human, in effect, and she has to learn how to be "normal" again through her interactions with Nick Fury. But it proved a difficult sell to some MCU fans.

Thankfully, this trailer deals with that very well. We get far more of a hint of Danvers as a human who emotes and feels and bounces off other characters. Here, she feels a million miles away from the aloof outsider of the second trailer and it's much easier to imagine yourself falling in love with her as a hero.

Long may this continue in what remains of the marketing.
