1. Captain Marvel Will Work With Ronan The Accuser

A hero working with a villain? That doesn't sound good. Although, Ronan might not be that villainous as he was when he first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy. Since Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s, he still has plenty of time to descend into villainy. Unless the Kree are actually just as bad as the Skrulls at that time. Just because they make Captain Marvel into a hero, doesn't mean that was their intentions.

In the footage Carol was marching in formation with several other Kree warriors, known as Starforce. And although that sounds like a cool name, it's not impossible that this just special-ops group working for Ronan The Accuser. He was a member of Starforce in the comics, but if Marvel are looking to explore Ronan's descent into becoming a villain, putting him in charge of a military force might kickstart the thirst for power.

We also saw shots of Jude Law as Mar-Vell within the trailer, one of them he was stood with Ronan, so it seems clear that they're on the same side. Although it'll be interesting to see why Ronan steps away from the Kree Empire. And we'd bet money on Carol Danvers having something to do with that.
