4. Monica Rambeau

And rounding out the Easter Eggs on the message board there's a post by one Monica Rambeau, who fans of the Captain Marvel comic will recognise as well as those familiar with the MCU film.

In the film, Monica is one of Carol Danvers' oldest friends and another Air Force pilot, who has a daughter named after her and who Brie Larson says is both "the representation of love" in the film and "an incredible badass". She's basically Ice Man and Goose rolled into one to Danvers' Maverick.

In the comics, Rambeau was the second Captain Marvel in Marvel Comics after Mar-Vell and debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #16 in 1982. She initially gained the powers to transform into any form of energy (hence the pun in her message) and while she gave up the Captain Marvel name to the original's son (Genis-Vell), she continued on in the comics as Photon. That's where the MCU's Rambeau's Air Force call-sign comes from.
