Casting The Live Action Attack On Titan Movie

7. Reiner Braun - Liam Hemsworth

Attack On Titan Movie
Amazon Studios

The youngest member of the Hemsworth clan has been searching for a new franchise to attach himself too since The Hunger Games series ended in 2016. An attempt at reviving nineties blockbuster, Independence Day, was universally panned by critics and filmgoers alike, so it's time for Liam to prove that his role in The Hunger Games wasn't just a one time thing.

While he's got a good looks and charm required to be a leading man, he's a bit too old to play the role of Eren Yeager. However, if there's a role that would suit him extremely well, it would be the character of Reiner.

During the beginning of the story, Reiner is seen as a big brother and a leader to many of the younger, less mature characters, such as Eren and Armin. However, when the truth about who he and Bertolt are is finally revealed, he becomes one of the main villains in the show.

While he wouldn't be the lead in Attack on Titan, Hemsworth would have a very important supporting role in the film. We've already shown that he can be the brave, heroic saviour in The Hunger Games, but this role would give him the opportunity to prove that he can play someone other than a hero.
